About the club

A friendly club who are capable of training you to a high standard. All are welcome, but we do require that you to be a good swimmer- at least 50m and be able to touch the bottom at the deep end.

We are mainly a Junior Club but we are developing an adult team to compete at National level.

Junior sessions take place on a Saturday at Central Park Swimming Pool 1500 to 1630.

All are welcome - you will not need kit but a swimming costume is a good idea!

We have had success at National level with our U13 squads and last year our U16 team finished second in the country.

Internationally Charlotte Cooper plays for GB19 girls, this year so have Jane Allan and Alyssa Oates. Ryan Passmore, James Evans, Petroc Shelley and Ed Mitchell have all played for England U19.

This year we have entered our first adult side and they won division 4.

This year we have 4 players playing in the world championships in Holland:

U19 Boys Ed Mitchell, U19 girls Jane Allan and Charlotte Cooper. U23 men Michael Capstack.

Good luck to them!

So why not come and join in.             Enquiries please email John Mitchell

For the adult game Beginners to Intermediate level  all are welcome

This takes place on a Tuesday evening at Central Park 2100 to 2200                Please email  John Mitchell

For more advanced players who want play competitively then the Pirates meet on a Friday at 2045 at Plympton Pool - please note this is a private booking and you will need to come along and arrange things first. However new members are welcome
