Meet the Coaches

Beginners and Improvers

Phil Shepherd- - qualified coach.

Phil has been  been introducing young people to the game for over 10 years.  He is a stalwart of the club and is an expert in communicating his enthusiasm for the game,

Ashleigh Mitchell - qualified coach

Ashleigh has been playing the game for 15 years and she assists Phil in delivering the Rookie Award that introduces young people to the game. She is also the current treasurer.

Improvers and Intermediates

John Mitchell - -qualified coach, referee  and school teacher

John has been coaching various sports for over 20 years. He is the current chair of the club

Dave Gill - qualified coach and commercial diver

Dave has been playing the game for " a long time"  and assists John in delivering the Bronze and Silver  Award which dcvelop the required playing and team skills.

Will Grey - commercial diver

Will  also has been playing the game for "quite a while" and he also delivers the Bronze and Silver Awards.

Intermediates and Advanced

Mikeee Capstack - qualified coach, referee and current member of GB U23 squad

Mikeee has only been playing for 5 years but has quickly progressed to a very high level of playing standard. He has very good tactical knowledge and was the captain of Plymouth University

Ed Mitchell -  qualified coach, referee and current member of GB U19 squad

Ed has been playing for 8 years and plays at high level with good knowledge of the game. Ed learnt to play with us and was taught by Phil.

Rachel Shelley - qualified coach

With a good playing standard and  knowledge of the game Rachel provides a good role model for the female members of the club

Petroc Shelley - qualified coach, referee and current member of GB U19 Squad

Petroc has a good playing standard and his determined approach to the game is one for all to aspire to. Petroc is also a product of this club and was taught by Phil.

Paul Oates

Paul has very good knowledge of the game and his determined no nonsense approach to the game is known throughout the South West.

  1. Regionals March 17th March

    February 20, 2012 - 8:44pm

    Minibus will be leaving Band Q Plympton at 0930. Team cost £5 per player and about £15 for minibus.
